Spring is almost here and it’s time to get your health in check at our Texas Children’s Health Plan Annual Spring into Wellness Health Fair & 5K Run Festival!

Join us at our 5K walk/run, visit our Healthy Hub Stations and enjoy family fun!

Schedule of Events:

9:00 a.m.- 9:30 a.m.: 5K Registration
9:30 a.m.: 5K start
10:00 a.m.: Health Fair opens

The Spring into Wellness Health Fair & 5K Run Festival will include:

A FREE 5K Run/Walk for all ages! The first 100 participants 12 years and older that register on-site the day of the event, will receive a t-shirt and bib #.
Healthy Hub Stations offering blood pressure, glucose, dental and vision screenings for children and adults
Baby Depot Area with resources on well child and pregnancy checkups as well as diapers for babies present
Information on how to renew and/or apply for CHIP/Medicaid
Family fun at the children’s area with performances, music, face painter, rides, arts and crafts, community resources and much more!

Disclaimer:

All health screenings, giveaways, diapers and activities are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies last. Event is weather permitting. Registration for the 5K will happen the morning of the event and run shirts and bibs will be awarded to the first 100 registrants over the age of 12 years of age.

Parent or guardian must accompany eligible children to receive any health screening or vaccine. Baby or pregnant women must be present to receive diapers.
