HHSC Publishes Payment Rates for Financial Management Services Agencies

Attention: Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSA)
Effective date: September 1,2024
Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to notify FMSA’s that the Health and Human Services commission (HHSC) approved payment rates for the Biennial Fee Review effective September 1, 2024.
How this impacts providers: These approved FMSA rates specifically encompass monthly FMSA fees for the following programs:
- Community Care Services Eligibility (CCSE) (formerly Community Care for Aged/Disabled (CCAD))
- Consumer Managed Personal Attendant Services (CMPAS)
- Personal Care Services (PCS)
- STAR Kids/STAR Health
HHSC reviewed FMSA payment rates and methodology as part of a fiscal year 2024 biennial fee review.
